How the Airtv link becomes the Photo file

One thing to set expectations on: Airtv is served by our media route, which resolves an individual item rather than walking an album. A photo request here returns the media the link names, not a sweep of everything the account has ever posted. A typical Airtv item runs a few minutes. No credentials are involved anywhere in this path — neither yours nor ours.

The address bar works too. Prefix any Airtv URL with tikt.com/:

tikt.com/https://www.example.com/path/to/media
The whole process
1. Copy the Airtv link

Use the address bar or the platform's own share button — both give a URL the extractor recognises. Point it at the single item you want, not the page around it.

2. Let it read the renditions

Paste the URL above. The extractor asks Airtv which renditions exist for that item and picks the best progressive one rather than assuming a quality.

3. Save what comes back

The file arrives in the container Airtv served it in, and the extractor does not rebuild it — so what you end up with is what the uploader encoded, for better or worse.

Technical FAQ — Tikt.com Airtv Media Converter

No. Airtv is handled by the media route, which resolves the item a link names rather than walking a profile's history. Paste the individual item you want. That is a limit of the route, not a paywall — there is nothing to upgrade to that changes it.

It reads the rendition list Airtv publishes for that item and takes the highest progressive one — a single file with video and audio already muxed, so nothing has to be recombined afterwards. It never re-encodes, so it cannot give you a quality Airtv did not publish.

Seconds, normally. Items on Airtv are typically short, so the file is small and the transfer is over almost as soon as it starts. If it stalls, that is a connection problem rather than a queue — there is no queue.

Yes, identically. The work happens on our side, so an old phone on a slow connection is no worse at resolving the Airtv link than a desktop — it just downloads the file more slowly afterwards.

No. This is a web page with a text box. Anything that asks you to install an executable to save the Airtv link is asking for more access than the job requires.

No. The file streams through and is gone; there is no library, no history and nothing to delete afterwards. That is also why we cannot re-send you something you downloaded last week.

No cap you have to pay to lift and no trial that expires. The paid plan exists for people who download in bulk or want the API; a single Airtv link does not need it and never will.

Not by us. There is no re-encode step in the path, so the file you get is bit-for-bit what Airtv served. Whatever compression Airtv applied when it accepted the upload is already baked in and cannot be undone by anyone.

Photo downloads come back at full source resolution -- whatever pixel dimensions the original uploader used on Airtv.

Tikt.com never adds image watermarks. The Photo you download from Airtv is the source file the platform CDN serves.

Airtv serves the Photo asset as a public URL. Tikt.com fetches it without ever signing in to your account.

Saved to your browser's default Downloads folder. JPG files render in every image viewer (Preview, Photos, Photopea, the browser itself).

No signup. No account. No cookies tied to your Airtv identity. Tikt.com doesn't log which Photo URL you pasted.

One Photo per URL by default. For multiple, paste each Airtv URL into a fresh tab or use the batch endpoint documented under /api/.

Tikt.com does not retain downloaded files or log user activity. All media is processed in a stateless pipeline and transmitted directly to the requesting device.
