By accessing and using Tikt LLC ("Tikt" or "tikt.com"), you agree to be bound by tikt.com's Terms of Service as stated in this document. If you do not accept these terms, you are not permitted to use tikt.com or its services.
tikt.com reserves the right to change, alter, update, or terminate the Terms of Service at its sole discretion at any time, for any reason. By continuing to use tikt.com or its services you agree to be bound by any future versions of these Terms of Service document. As such, we recommend that you review these Terms of Service from time to time.
Should you violate the Terms of Services, any prior authorization, implicit or explicit, to use tikt.com or its services shall terminate immediately without notice. Any use of tikt.com in violation of these Terms of Service shall be unauthorized.
No employer-employee relationship, partnership, or other agency relationship with tikt.com is created as a result of acceptance of these terms of service.
You represent and warrant to us that: (A) you are an individual (i.e., not a corporation) and you are of legal age to form a binding contract or have your parent's permission to do so, and you are at least 13 years or age or older; (B) all registration information you submit is accurate and truthful; and (C) you will maintain the accuracy of such information. You also certify that you are legally permitted to use and access the services and take full responsibility for the selection and use of and access to the services. This agreement is void where prohibited by law, and any access to tikt.com or its services in such jurisdictions is prohibited.
tikt.com retains the rights to any of its original content on tikt.com and its website.
tikt.com may collect information from your use of tikt.com and its services. For example, tikt.com collects your IP address for the rate limit recordings if you are not a PRO user. It does not connect that IP to any video or audio that was recorded. It simply tallies that a recording was done by that IP, until that IP reaches its daily limit, and that tally expires after 24 hours. There is no IP logging on any transcoders. Our web servers also keep standard access logs (IP address, browser type, requested page and timestamp) for a limited period for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention, as described in our Privacy Policy. It may also collect information you provide in creating an account. Although you own your personal data and information, by and through your use of tikt.com and its services, you provide tikt.com the authorization and license to access, collect, and store such user data and information ("User Information"). A link you submit is held in your browser session only while it is being processed, and expires with that session.
You represent that you possess the right to provide tikt.com with your User Information. You also agree that all User Information you submit to tikt.com, expressly or through use of tikt.com and its services, will be collected and governed by tikt.com's Privacy Policy.
tikt.com uses certain icons for social media services ("Social Media Icons") to direct users to information on tikt.com's site about recording content from such social media services. The use of such icons does not reflect any endorsement of tikt.com or its services by such social media sites.
Apart from User Information provided by and collected from its users, tikt.com does not collect or store any third party content or information.
In using a link to third party content with tikt.com, you understand that you are completely responsible for the use of the link with tikt.com's services. tikt.com is not responsible for any content accessible through such links or linked materials. You assume all responsibility.
tikt.com does not store any links to third-party content and merely pipes content directly to you. As a result, tikt.com can only access content that is not protected by DRM. Since you are responsible for providing the links used with tikt.com and its services, tikt.com neither reviews nor endorses the content of third-party sites. Additionally, tikt.com does not claim any rights over such content. You acknowledge that the content and materials accessed through links submitted to tikt.com and its services may not always be accurate, complete, or up-to-date.
Certain content may contain digital rights mechanisms that prevent access or storage of such content. You agree not to attempt circumvention of such digital rights mechanisms.
You use any links at your own discretion and risk.
tikt.com respects the intellectual property rights of others, and does not permit or condone copyright infringing activities, which is why the service is solely allowing to record publicly available online-content.
Again, tikt.com does not store any third-party content accessed through its services or website. As such, we cannot remove any content. Should you wish to remove or disable access to content available through other websites, please direct any notice to the hosting provider (e.g. Instagram, FaceBook, Pinterest, etc.) directly. tikt.com and its services must only be used for personal, non-commercial use, except where you hold a paid API or team plan that expressly permits business use. Any other commercial use of tikt.com is strictly forbidden. tikt.com seeks solely to enable a user to create a copy of accessible online-content through the use of its services in the form of a video recorder for the private, non-commercial use of the user ("fair use"). However, this does not include publishing the recorded video on any public platform without express authorization of the owner. Any use of third-party content must be authorized by the owner of such content and its intellectual property. The user bears full responsibility for their use of tikt.com. tikt.com only acts as a technical service provider.

tikt.com respects intellectual property rights. tikt.com itself does not store third-party content on its website or servers, as can be seen by our example code as to how to configure gallery-dl or similar and python to do this here. No one should upload any third-party content to tikt.com.
If you believe that any material on tikt.com infringes upon any copyright which you own or control, you may send a written Notification of Alleged Copyright Infringement ("Notification") to our designated Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") Agent identified below. In the Notification, you should:
(A) Identify in sufficient detail the copyrighted work or intellectual property that you claim has been infringed so that we can locate the material;
(B) Identify the URL or other specific location on tikt.com that contains the material that you claim infringes your copyright;
(C) Provide the electronic or physical signature of the owner of the copyright or a person authorized to act on the owner's behalf;
(D) Include a statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
(E) Include a statement that the information contained in your Notification is accurate and attest under the penalty of perjury that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf; and,
(F) Include your name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.

When tikt.com receives a proper Notification, it promptly removes or disables access to the allegedly infringing material and terminates the accounts associated therewith (if applicable) in accordance with the DMCA.
tikt.com has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at its sole discretion, members who are deemed to be repeat infringers. tikt.com may also in its sole discretion limit access to tikt.com and/or terminate the use thereof by anyone who infringes any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.
You shall indemnify and hold harmless tikt.com and all affiliates, partners, customers, employees, contractors, consultants, and other related entities from any liability, cost, damage, loss, or legal matters, including attorneys fees, arising from any third party claim or proceeding against tikt.com. This expressly includes a duty to defend tikt.com should any lawsuit be filed.
tikt.com is currently a party to pending legal proceedings. While those proceedings are open we are under a legal obligation to preserve records that may be relevant to them, and the systems holding those records have been placed under a litigation hold.
For as long as the hold is in force we have suspended the routine deletion schedules described in our Privacy Policy. Server access logs, usage events, page ratings and account records that we would ordinarily delete on a fixed schedule are retained instead. The hold does not cause us to collect anything new about you; it only stops us deleting what we already hold.
You keep every right described in our Privacy Policy, including the right to ask us to delete your account, and we will still delete it when you ask. Where the law requires us to preserve particular records for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, we retain a limited preservation record of them and use it for that purpose alone.
Records preserved under the hold are not used for advertising, marketing or profiling, are never sold, and are disclosed only to our legal advisers, to the courts, and to anyone else we are required by law to disclose them to.
This hold was opened on 5 August 2026. We will update this page when it is lifted and our ordinary deletion schedules resume.
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Connecticut and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
