The Altcensored link is resolved by our media extractor. It asks Altcensored for the list of renditions it publishes for that item, takes the best progressive one and streams it through to you as the GIF file. Nothing is transcoded on the way, so quality is whatever Altcensored encoded at. Among the Altcensored link shapes handled are channel. Some Altcensored URLs name a collection rather than a single item, and those return everything the collection holds. The renditions we see from Altcensored arrive as WEBM.
