The reason the Br GIF file is awkward to save in the first place is that the platform serves it as a stream rather than as a file. This page does the small amount of work that turns one into the other, and nothing else. Br's extractor is currently flagged as unreliable upstream, so an occasional failure there is expected rather than surprising.
