The Franceinfo link is resolved by our media extractor. It asks Franceinfo for the list of renditions it publishes for that item, takes the best progressive one and streams it through to you as the GIF file. Nothing is transcoded on the way, so quality is whatever Franceinfo encoded at. Franceinfo is one of the smaller integrations here, so the extractor keeps its handling deliberately general rather than assuming a page layout.
Two ways in: the box above, or prefix the Franceinfo URL you are already looking at with tikt.com/:
tikt.com/https://www.example.com/path/to/media
Use the address bar or the platform's own share button — both give a URL the extractor recognises. Point it at the single item you want, not the page around it.
Paste the URL above. The extractor asks Franceinfo which renditions exist for that item and picks the best progressive one rather than assuming a quality.
The file arrives in the container Franceinfo served it in, and the extractor does not rebuild it — so what you end up with is what the uploader encoded, for better or worse.
