Save Photo From Khanacademy

Turn a link into something you actually own.

What happens after you paste the Khanacademy link

The Khanacademy link is resolved by our media extractor. It asks Khanacademy for the list of renditions it publishes for that item, takes the best progressive one and streams it through to you as the photo file. Nothing is transcoded on the way, so quality is whatever Khanacademy encoded at. Among the Khanacademy link shapes handled are unit. No credentials are involved anywhere in this path — neither yours nor ours.

Two ways in: the box above, or prefix the Khanacademy URL you are already looking at with tikt.com/:

tikt.com/https://www.example.com/path/to/media
What you actually have to do
1. Copy the Khanacademy link

Use the address bar or the platform's own share button — both give a URL the extractor recognises. Point it at the single item you want, not the page around it.

2. Let it read the renditions

Paste the URL above. The extractor asks Khanacademy which renditions exist for that item and picks the best progressive one rather than assuming a quality.

3. Save what comes back

The file arrives in the container Khanacademy served it in, and the extractor does not rebuild it — so what you end up with is what the uploader encoded, for better or worse.

Technical FAQ — Tikt.com Khanacademy Media Converter

No. Khanacademy is handled by the media route, which resolves the item a link names rather than walking a profile's history. Paste the individual item you want. That is a limit of the route, not a paywall — there is nothing to upgrade to that changes it.

It reads the rendition list Khanacademy publishes for that item and takes the highest progressive one — a single file with video and audio already muxed, so nothing has to be recombined afterwards. It never re-encodes, so it cannot give you a quality Khanacademy did not publish.

Among others: unit. Those are separate URL shapes with separate handling behind them, which is why a link that looks nothing like the last one you pasted still works.

Not by us. There is no re-encode step in the path, so the file you get is bit-for-bit what Khanacademy served. Whatever compression Khanacademy applied when it accepted the upload is already baked in and cannot be undone by anyone.

No. This is a web page with a text box. Anything that asks you to install an executable to save the Khanacademy link is asking for more access than the job requires.

Yes, identically. The work happens on our side, so an old phone on a slow connection is no worse at resolving the Khanacademy link than a desktop — it just downloads the file more slowly afterwards.

No. The file streams through and is gone; there is no library, no history and nothing to delete afterwards. That is also why we cannot re-send you something you downloaded last week.

No cap you have to pay to lift and no trial that expires. The paid plan exists for people who download in bulk or want the API; a single Khanacademy link does not need it and never will.

Photo downloads come back at full source resolution -- whatever pixel dimensions the original uploader used on Khanacademy.

JPG files render in every OS image viewer, every browser and most editors (Photoshop, GIMP, Affinity, Krita).

Tikt.com never adds image watermarks. The Photo you download from Khanacademy is the source file the platform CDN serves.

Image rights stay with the original poster on Khanacademy. Personal use is fine; for commercial reuse, check the source profile's license terms.

No signup. No account. No cookies tied to your Khanacademy identity. Tikt.com doesn't log which Photo URL you pasted.

One Photo per URL by default. For multiple, paste each Khanacademy URL into a fresh tab or use the batch endpoint documented under /api/.

Tikt.com does not retain downloaded files or log user activity. All media is processed in a stateless pipeline and transmitted directly to the requesting device.
