No app, no extension, no account. The whole thing is a text box and a link — you paste the Picarto URL, we resolve it, you get the GIF file. Anything more than that would be us adding steps for our benefit rather than yours. Picarto is one of the few platforms wired into both routes at once, because its posts and its streams are genuinely different things. Picarto also carries live output, and a stream still in progress has no final file to give you yet. Among the Picarto link shapes handled are gallery.
Shortcut — stick tikt.com/ on the front of the Picarto address instead of copying it here:
tikt.com/https://www.example.com/path/to/media
A post link and a stream link are both fine here — they take different paths internally and you do not have to care which.
The URL shape decides the route: album-style Picarto links go to the gallery extractor, stream-style links to the media extractor.
A post can return several files and a stream returns one. Either way nothing was re-encoded on the way through.
Convert URLs into downloadable assets via a precise REST interface. Extract video, audio, and image streams with deterministic responses and process at scale.
import requests
response = requests.post(
"https://api.tikt.com/api/download",
headers={"Authorization": "API_KEY"},
json={"url": "URL"},
)
for item in response.json()["items"]:
print(item["type"], item["url"])
Tikt.com does not retain downloaded files or log user activity. All media is processed in a stateless pipeline and transmitted directly to the requesting device.
