Save Photo From Sky

4 different Sky link shapes are recognised, so paste whatever you copied.

The process, start to finish

No app, no extension, no account. The whole thing is a text box and a link — you paste the Sky URL, we resolve it, you get the photo file. Anything more than that would be us adding steps for our benefit rather than yours. The extractor covers 4 separate Sky URL shapes, so a link copied from anywhere on the site usually resolves as-is. Sky is handled by the media route, which reads the site's own rendition list before choosing anything. No credentials are involved anywhere in this path — neither yours nor ours.

The address bar works too. Prefix any Sky URL with tikt.com/:

tikt.com/https://www.example.com/path/to/media
What you actually have to do
1. Copy the Sky link

Use the address bar or the platform's own share button — both give a URL the extractor recognises. Point it at the single item you want, not the page around it.

2. Let it read the renditions

Paste the URL above. The extractor asks Sky which renditions exist for that item and picks the best progressive one rather than assuming a quality.

3. Save what comes back

The file arrives in the container Sky served it in, and the extractor does not rebuild it — so what you end up with is what the uploader encoded, for better or worse.

Technical FAQ — Tikt.com Sky Media Converter

No. Sky is handled by the media route, which resolves the item a link names rather than walking a profile's history. Paste the individual item you want. That is a limit of the route, not a paywall — there is nothing to upgrade to that changes it.

It reads the rendition list Sky publishes for that item and takes the highest progressive one — a single file with video and audio already muxed, so nothing has to be recombined afterwards. It never re-encodes, so it cannot give you a quality Sky did not publish.

Among others: news, news:story, sports, sports:news. Those are separate URL shapes with separate handling behind them, which is why a link that looks nothing like the last one you pasted still works.

No. 4 different Sky URL shapes are recognised, which covers the ordinary address-bar URL, the share variant and most of the odd ones in between. Paste whatever you copied; if it is the Sky address it will almost certainly resolve.

No cap you have to pay to lift and no trial that expires. The paid plan exists for people who download in bulk or want the API; a single Sky link does not need it and never will.

No. This is a web page with a text box. Anything that asks you to install an executable to save the Sky link is asking for more access than the job requires.

Not by us. There is no re-encode step in the path, so the file you get is bit-for-bit what Sky served. Whatever compression Sky applied when it accepted the upload is already baked in and cannot be undone by anyone.

No. The file streams through and is gone; there is no library, no history and nothing to delete afterwards. That is also why we cannot re-send you something you downloaded last week.

JPG files render in every OS image viewer, every browser and most editors (Photoshop, GIMP, Affinity, Krita).

Sky serves the Photo asset as a public URL. Tikt.com fetches it without ever signing in to your account.

No special tricks. Paste the Sky URL as it appears in your address bar; Tikt.com handles the rest.

No signup. No account. No cookies tied to your Sky identity. Tikt.com doesn't log which Photo URL you pasted.

One Photo per URL by default. For multiple, paste each Sky URL into a fresh tab or use the batch endpoint documented under /api/.

Free. The Photo downloader for Sky is unmetered for personal use -- no per-file fee, no daily cap.

Tikt.com does not retain downloaded files or log user activity. All media is processed in a stateless pipeline and transmitted directly to the requesting device.
