One Acast URL can mean one item or a whole feed, and that distinction matters more than it looks. Paste the single-item link if you want exactly that item; paste the feed or collection URL if you want what it contains. Both resolve, they just resolve to different things. Among the Acast link shapes handled are channel. Acast is handled by the media route, which reads the site's own rendition list before choosing anything. The renditions we see from Acast arrive as MP3.
