There is a difference between watching something on Cp24 and having it. A link can be taken down, made private or region-locked tomorrow; the photo file on your own disk cannot. That is the entire point of this page. Cp24 is handled by the media route, which reads the site's own rendition list before choosing anything. Parts of the Cp24 catalogue are region-locked to CA, which is the usual reason a link behaves differently for two people. No credentials are involved anywhere in this path — neither yours nor ours.
