Fancode uses a signed-in session to fence off private material, and we deliberately do not hold one. That draws a clean line: anything a logged-out visitor can already see downloads here, and anything behind a follow request or a private account does not. There is no workaround on this page and we would not offer one. Fancode's extractor is currently flagged as unreliable upstream, so an occasional failure there is expected rather than surprising. Fancode is handled by the media route, which reads the site's own rendition list before choosing anything. Fancode also carries live output, and a stream still in progress has no final file to give you yet.

The file arrives in the container Fancode served it in, and the extractor does not rebuild it — so what you end up with is what the uploader encoded, for better or worse.
