Getcourseru uses a signed-in session to fence off private material, and we deliberately do not hold one. That draws a clean line: anything a logged-out visitor can already see downloads here, and anything behind a follow request or a private account does not. There is no workaround on this page and we would not offer one. Getcourseru is handled by the media route, which reads the site's own rendition list before choosing anything.
