The container is passed through rather than rebuilt, so there is no generation loss between what Gofile stored and what ends up in your downloads folder. A post link and a stream link are both fine here — they take different paths internally and you do not have to care which.
The URL shape decides the route: album-style Gofile links go to the gallery extractor, stream-style links to the media extractor.
