One thing to set expectations on: Medaltv is served by our media route, which resolves an individual item rather than walking an album. A photo request here returns the media the link names, not a sweep of everything the account has ever posted. Items on Medaltv are typically under a minute, so the files are small. No credentials are involved anywhere in this path — neither yours nor ours.
The address bar works too. Prefix any Medaltv URL with tikt.com/:
tikt.com/https://www.example.com/path/to/media
Use the address bar or the platform's own share button — both give a URL the extractor recognises. Point it at the single item you want, not the page around it.
Paste the URL above. The extractor asks Medaltv which renditions exist for that item and picks the best progressive one rather than assuming a quality.
The file arrives in the container Medaltv served it in, and the extractor does not rebuild it — so what you end up with is what the uploader encoded, for better or worse.
