The Mixlr link is resolved by our media extractor. It asks Mixlr for the list of renditions it publishes for that item, takes the best progressive one and streams it through to you as the profile file. Nothing is transcoded on the way, so quality is whatever Mixlr encoded at. Mixlr is one of the smaller integrations here, so the extractor keeps its handling deliberately general rather than assuming a page layout.
