Patreon links arrive in two shapes and we route them differently. A post or album URL goes to the gallery extractor, which walks the attached files; a stream URL goes to the media extractor, which negotiates renditions. Paste either and the right one picks it up. The extractor covers 5 separate Patreon URL shapes, so a link copied from anywhere on the site usually resolves as-is. Patreon supports signed-in sessions upstream, which is precisely how it hides private material; we browse anonymously, so that material stays hidden. The renditions we see from Patreon arrive as MP4.
The address bar works too. Prefix any Patreon URL with tikt.com/:

A post link and a stream link are both fine here — they take different paths internally and you do not have to care which.
The URL shape decides the route: album-style Patreon links go to the gallery extractor, stream-style links to the media extractor.
A post can return several files and a stream returns one. Either way nothing was re-encoded on the way through.
