The Playvids link is resolved by our media extractor. It asks Playvids for the list of renditions it publishes for that item, takes the best progressive one and streams it through to you as the video file. Nothing is transcoded on the way, so quality is whatever Playvids encoded at. Playvids items commonly run five to twenty minutes, so expect a file of some size.
