The Pr0Gramm link is resolved by our media extractor. It asks Pr0Gramm for the list of renditions it publishes for that item, takes the best progressive one and streams it through to you as the profile file. Nothing is transcoded on the way, so quality is whatever Pr0Gramm encoded at. The renditions we see from Pr0Gramm arrive as MP4. Pr0Gramm items come marked with an age restriction upstream. No credentials are involved anywhere in this path — neither yours nor ours.
The address bar works too. Prefix any Pr0Gramm URL with tikt.com/:
tikt.com/https://www.example.com/path/to/media
Use the address bar or the platform's own share button — both give a URL the extractor recognises. Point it at the single item you want, not the page around it.
Paste the URL above. The extractor asks Pr0Gramm which renditions exist for that item and picks the best progressive one rather than assuming a quality.
The file arrives in the container Pr0Gramm served it in, and the extractor does not rebuild it — so what you end up with is what the uploader encoded, for better or worse.
