The Puls4 link is resolved by our media extractor. It asks Puls4 for the list of renditions it publishes for that item, takes the best progressive one and streams it through to you as the MP4 file. Nothing is transcoded on the way, so quality is whatever Puls4 encoded at. The renditions we see from Puls4 arrive as FLV. No credentials are involved anywhere in this path — neither yours nor ours.
