The Rcs link is resolved by our media extractor. It asks Rcs for the list of renditions it publishes for that item, takes the best progressive one and streams it through to you as the MP4 file. Nothing is transcoded on the way, so quality is whatever Rcs encoded at. The renditions we see from Rcs arrive as MP4. No credentials are involved anywhere in this path — neither yours nor ours.
