There is a difference between watching something on Shimmie2 and having it. A link can be taken down, made private or region-locked tomorrow; the audio file on your own disk cannot. That is the entire point of this page. Everything from Shimmie2 goes through the gallery route, which enumerates a post's files instead of negotiating a stream. Find the Shimmie2 post, album or profile page holding what you want and copy its address. A post URL gets you that post; a profile URL gets you what the profile has published.
