There is a difference between watching something on Slideshare and having it. A link can be taken down, made private or region-locked tomorrow; the audio file on your own disk cannot. That is the entire point of this page. Slideshare is one of the few platforms wired into both routes at once, because its posts and its streams are genuinely different things.
