The Stitcher link is resolved by our media extractor. Nothing is transcoded on the way, so quality is whatever Stitcher encoded at. Stitcher leans towards half-hour-plus items, so downloads there are measured in minutes rather than seconds. The renditions we see from Stitcher arrive as MP3. No credentials are involved anywhere in this path — neither yours nor ours.
