The Weyyak link is resolved by our media extractor. It asks Weyyak for the list of renditions it publishes for that item, takes the best progressive one and streams it through to you as the MP3 file. Nothing is transcoded on the way, so quality is whatever Weyyak encoded at. Nothing here re-encodes, so an audio-only file exists only where Weyyak publishes one; where it ships audio muxed inside the video stream, that stream is what there is to take. Weyyak routinely carries items over an hour long, which makes file size the practical limit rather than speed. No credentials are involved anywhere in this path — neither yours nor ours.
