Whyp serves its media as MP3, and that is exactly what you keep. The container is passed through rather than rebuilt, so there is no generation loss between what Whyp stored and what ends up in your downloads folder. Whyp is one of the few platforms wired into both routes at once, because its posts and its streams are genuinely different things. No credentials are involved anywhere in this path — neither yours nor ours.
The address bar works too. Prefix any Whyp URL with tikt.com/:
tikt.com/https://www.example.com/path/to/media
A post link and a stream link are both fine here — they take different paths internally and you do not have to care which.
The URL shape decides the route: album-style Whyp links go to the gallery extractor, stream-style links to the media extractor.
A post can return several files and a stream returns one. Either way nothing was re-encoded on the way through.
