Online Whyp Video Extractor

It runs in the browser you already have open.

The process, start to finish

Offline is the common reason people end up here: a flight, a commute, a patchy connection, a phone that will not stream Whyp reliably. A local video file solves all four and does not need us again afterwards. Whyp is one of the few platforms wired into both routes at once, because its posts and its streams are genuinely different things. No credentials are involved anywhere in this path — neither yours nor ours.

The address bar works too. Prefix any Whyp URL with tikt.com/:

tikt.com/https://www.example.com/path/to/media
The whole process
1. Grab whichever Whyp link you have

A post link and a stream link are both fine here — they take different paths internally and you do not have to care which.

2. Paste and let it route

The URL shape decides the route: album-style Whyp links go to the gallery extractor, stream-style links to the media extractor.

3. Collect what came back

A post can return several files and a stream returns one. Either way nothing was re-encoded on the way through.

Technical FAQ — Tikt.com Whyp Media Converter

Whyp is wired into both extractors. A post or album URL goes to the gallery route and returns the files attached to it; a stream URL goes to the media route and returns one negotiated rendition. Same box, different machinery, decided by the shape of the link.

You get the best progressive rendition Whyp publishes for that item, chosen automatically. There is no upscaling on offer, because inventing pixels that Whyp never encoded would make the file bigger and not better.

Not by us. There is no re-encode step in the path, so the file you get is bit-for-bit what Whyp served. Whatever compression Whyp applied when it accepted the upload is already baked in and cannot be undone by anyone.

Yes, identically. The work happens on our side, so an old phone on a slow connection is no worse at resolving the Whyp link than a desktop — it just downloads the file more slowly afterwards.

No. This is a web page with a text box. Anything that asks you to install an executable to save the Whyp link is asking for more access than the job requires.

No. The file streams through and is gone; there is no library, no history and nothing to delete afterwards. That is also why we cannot re-send you something you downloaded last week.

No cap you have to pay to lift and no trial that expires. The paid plan exists for people who download in bulk or want the API; a single Whyp link does not need it and never will.

Check that the link opens in a normal logged-out browser tab first. If it does not, we cannot see it either. If it does, the item may have moved or the platform may have changed something on its side since the extractor last saw it.

MP4 (H.264 + AAC) plays in QuickTime, VLC, Windows Media Player, every modern browser, iOS / Android natively. No codec packs required.

No. Video downloads from Whyp via Tikt.com never carry a Tikt.com watermark. Where the source upload has an in-platform overlay, Tikt.com fetches the clean underlying variant when the CDN exposes one.

Whyp serves the Video asset as a public URL. Tikt.com fetches it without ever signing in to your account.

No signup. No account. No cookies tied to your Whyp identity. Tikt.com doesn't log which Video URL you pasted.

One Video per URL by default. For multiple, paste each Whyp URL into a fresh tab or use the batch endpoint documented under /api/.

Free. The Video downloader for Whyp is unmetered for personal use -- no per-file fee, no daily cap.

Tikt.com does not retain downloaded files or log user activity. All media is processed in a stateless pipeline and transmitted directly to the requesting device.
